Easy Halloween Craft for Beginners - Felt Ghost
Are you looking for an easy Halloween craft? This spooky project works up in no time. With just a few supplies and about five minutes you can make your own felt ghost!
About This Project:
Halloween is my favorite holiday. Every year I make some kind of project to celebrate the season. Last year it was an LED trick-or-treating basket for my kiddo. This year, I'm revisiting this spooky ghost. I first made these ghosts ten years ago and I still love everything about them.
A cool feature of these little ghouls is that they stand up on their own. The felt is stiff enough to support the weight of their styrofoam heads. With some minor adjustments to the bottom of the fabric, you'll be able to display your ghost on any flat surface.
And who doesn't love button eyes? There's something very spooky about walking out to the living room and seeing their red little button eyes staring at me from the side table, or the bookshelf. Yes, I have a few of them tucked around!
Another great thing about this project is that it's super easy to customize. Get creative with your button and thread choices so that you create the spooky ghost of your dreams!
Skills Needed:
Beginner level sewing skills are optional. If you can't (or don't want to) sew button eyes, you can use a glue gun instead!
