Don't you just love this set? I read "A Moveable Feast" a few years back and this is exactly the sort of thing I imagined Ernest Hemingway wearing while skiing the slopes.
It's warm and cozy, which makes it the perfect accessory set to keep you toasty while you're out playing in snow! It would also be a great Christmas gift.
This scarf pattern is the second part of the "Sport Set". The pattern for the hat can be found here. This scarf features stripes and long fringe. It is a gender neutral pattern that will look fantastic on everyone. I think this scarf looks surprisingly modern for being originally published in 1916.
I used two skeins of "Caron, One Pound" and it is more than enough yarn to make both the hat and scarf! Score!
This scarf pattern is a fantastic beginner project.
