Adding New Yarn - Single Crochet
I'll never forget the first time that I was working on something larger than a dishcloth and needed to add more yarn. I was thoroughly confused. Not only that, but I was doubting all the videos I was watching. How could you possibly just leave a tail hanging! How is that secure?
Well lo and behold, that is really how it's done! I have a little trick up my sleeve that allows me to secure the tail ends under a single stitch. This helps me feel more confident and it's essentially invisible.
We'll also go over how to switch back and forth between two colors. This is the first step you'll need to learn if you want to do more complicated colorwork projects, such as Christmas stockings.
